NSM has achieved a great deal in a very short period of time. They have completely restructured our marketing and corporate sponsorship program at the U of L, increasing the individual investment levels of partners and generating incremental revenue while providing greater value and equity to our corporate partners. CAMPUS WIDE SOLUTIONS

Nelligan Sports Marketing has developed, as part of its unique partnership model, a campus wide marketing program to maximize revenues for collegiate institutions and their partners. This program fosters long-term corporate relationships, furthers institutional initiatives, and promotes the brands of the College/University and its corporate partners.

Campus Wide Solutions is not a traditional sports sponsorship or marketing partnership. Campus Wide Solutions represents a totally new paradigm in University-Vendor relationships in which all university marketing assets are utilized to build a mutually beneficial agreement between the collegiate institution and its major partners. This relationship provides the University partner with the ability to meet corporate initiatives and dramatically affect market share in a positive way. In return, the collegiate institution is provided additional means of addressing many of its critical initiatives in a multitude of areas including, but not limited to, philanthropy and development, marketing and public relations, student development, internships and externships, infrastructure, and technology.

Campus Wide Solutions has proven to be successful time and again, irrespective of the size of the institution or its geographic location.


Example #1: Eastern Division I-A school with less than 5,000 students

Over the past five (5) years, NSM has increased sponsorship revenue by more than 225%, generating more than $16 million in revenue for the partnership. One recent campus wide automotive agreement will result in more than $4 million in non-athletic related revenue to the institution over the life of the agreement.

Benefits to the institution include:

  • Vehicle leases for institutional use
  • Annual contributions to the institution’s General Scholarship Fund
  • Several hundred thousand dollars in annual external media promoting the collegiate institution and the vendor’s relationship with the institution
  • Preferred automotive pricing for the term of the agreement


Example #2: Western University with 22,000 students

NSM has been successful in generating more than $20 million in sponsorship revenue for this University, increasing revenue by more than 300%. Campus wide initiatives at this property continue to provide tremendous value to the institution and its partners outside of athletics. Two recent examples involve Wireless and Healthcare.

Wireless:

  • Several hundred thousand dollars each year in annual royalty payments
  • Several hundred thousand dollar investment in the University’s wireless infrastructure
  • Six-figure contribution to the University IT Department
  • Establishment of retail wireless store on campus resulting in rent and sales royalty payments to the University

Healthcare:

  • New on-campus healthcare services for students, faculty and staff
  • Healthcare bookkeeping and record storage services at no cost to the University
  • Several hundred thousand dollars in “tagged” media promoting the University and community blood services
  • Donation of fees relating to orthopedic services back to the University
